Player Profile:

Central defender who had come through the club’s youth ranks. Ben’s competitive first-team debut for the club was as a sub in a 3-1 win at Herne Bay in the Kent Senior Cup on 12.9.17. He made one more appearance that season, a 2-1 defeat in the same competition at Bromley on 12.12.17.

Ben helped the Under-23 side win their title in 2017-18. He also spent time at SCEFL side Erith Town during the campaign.

Ahead of 2018-19, joint manager Mike Sandmann said: "Ben has huge potential and [Steve] Browny and I are looking forward to the opportunity of working with him on a week-to-week basis to continue his development at the club."

He spent most of 2018-19 on loan at Sittingbourne but also made five first-team appearances for Margate during the season, including starts in the final three matches.

He had a brief stay at Hythe Town at the start of 2019-20 but soon returned to Sittingbourne.

Ben played the curtailed 2020-21 season with Phoenix Sports and started the following campaign with them but, in December 2021, joined fellow Isthmian South East side Ramsgate and stayed at Southwood until the end of the 2022-23 season.

He started 2023-24 at Erith & Belvedere but moved on to VCD Athletic where he became captain.
