Player Profile:

Attacking midfielder Benas started his career with Tower Hamlets in the SCEFL before signing for Margate in January 2022. His debut was as a sub in a 3-0 defeat at home to Hornchurch on 15.1.22.

He soon gained a regular starting place in the team and scored his first goal for the club in a 2-1 win at Brightlingsea Regent on 5.3.22. He scored in consecutive games, both against Haringey Borough - a 3-1 home league win on 19.3.22 and a 3-2 away win in an Isthmian League Cup semi-final on 22.3.22. He had started both matches as a sub. He finished the season with four goals from 25 appearances. 

Benas left Margate at the end of the season and joined Aveley who he helped win the Isthmian Premier play-offs in 2022-23. He also scored in the Isthmian League Cup Final as Aveley beat Potters Bar Town 3-0 on 5.4.23.

In 2023-24, Benas played for Bowers & Pitsea and helped them win promotion from the Isthmian North Division via the play-offs, scoring 11 times in 36 games.

He then joined Brentwood Town in summer 2024.
