Player Profile:
Winger Charles joined Fulham aged 12 in 2006. He never made a first-team appearance, although he was an unused sub for a Premier League match at Stoke City in November 2012.
In November 2013, he joined Conference Premier side Woking on loan. He made eight league and two FA Trophy appearances before returning to Fulham. In June 2014, Charles was released by Fulham.
Charles joined League One Crawley Town in August 2014 on a short-term deal. On 9.8.14, he made his Crawley debut as a sub in a 1-0 victory at Barnsley. In January 2015, Charles re-joined Woking on loan until the end of the 2014-15 campaign.
In November 2015, Charles joined National League South side Maidstone United on a one-year deal. On 5.3.16, Charles was knocked out by a challenge by Basingstoke’s goalkeeper and had to spend two nights in hospital with concussion. He left the Stones at the end of the season.
After a brief spell with Billericay Town, Charles joined Margate in November 2016 as a free agent. His debut was on 22.11.16 in a 2-1 defeat at Eastbourne Borough. After 11 appearances, he left the club in January 2017.
In March 2017, Charles joined Isthmian Premier side Kingstonian. Ahead of 2017-18, he signed for fellow Isthmian Premier side Harrow Borough, and 2018-19 saw spells with Welling United, Leatherhead and Lewes.
Charles signed for Whitehawk for the start of the 2019-20 season. He played for Sevenoaks Town in 2021-22 as well as making one appearance for Herne Bay.
