Locally-born reserve team player who also featured in the first team on occasions. Charlie played twice during the 1946/47 season, making his debut in a 4-0 home win over Dover in the Kent League on 28.12.46, and he also made a one-off appearance late in the 1947/48 campaign.

He also played locally for Birchington. Charlie died in Richmond-upon-Thames in June 1995 aged 73.
