Player Profile:
Attack-minded player born in Margate who progressed through Margate's youth ranks and played for the Under-18's during the 2006/07 season. On 8.11.06, Chris was an unused substitute for the senior side as they lost 1-0 in a Kent Senior Cup tie at VCD.
In the summer of 2007, he featured in one first-team friendly and Chris then played regularly for the reserves throughout the 2007/08 and 2008/09 campaigns.
He made several substitute appearances in Margate's friendlies in the summer of 2009 and, on 21.7.09, Chris scored in a 5-0 win over Canterbury at Hartsdown Park. The Isle of Thanet Gazette said it was "the goal of the game" as he beat three defenders before slotting past the City keeper.
Chris continued to feature in the reserves during 2009/10 and on 30.3.10 he made his first-team debut as a substitute in a 2-0 defeat at Welling in the Kent Senior Cup.
Chris stayed with Margate for 2010/11 and played for the reserves throughout the season before making his first senior appearance of the campaign as a substitute in a 3-0 defeat at Tooting & Mitcham in the Isthmian Premier on 5.3.11. He also came off the bench in a 2-1 home defeat against Concord on 22.3.11 but that was Chris' final first-team outing.
In the summer of 2011, he signed for Ramsgate and Chris played exclusively for their reserves during 2011/12. He started 2012/13 with the Rams too but again couldn't break into the first-team and a few weeks into the season Chris briefly joined Milton & Fulston of the Kent County League Division One.
He was playing in the Thanet Sunday Football League during the 2013/14 campaign.
