Player Profile:

Sheppey-born player who joined Thanet in the summer of 1981 aged 16 and played exclusively for United's reserves during the 1981/82 season. Colin was a regular scorer and in December 1981 he had a trial at Notts County.

He stayed with United for the 1982/83 campaign and again played regularly for the reserves. Colin also made his first-team debut when he played in a 2-1 defeat at Canterbury on 4.12.82. He played as a striker and had what the Adscene called "an excellent debut". Colin made one further first team appearance, playing in a 6-0 defeat at Road-Sea Southampton on 2.5.83.

He stayed with the club for the 1983/84 season but didn't feature in the first team.

Colin later played for Ramsgate, appearing for them during the 1985/86 and 1986/87 seasons. However, he was mainly a reserve team player at Southwood.

He joined Deal for the 1987/88 campaign and then made a brief return to Thanet United during 1988/89, making four reserve team appearances.

In later years Colin managed various youth teams at Ramsgate.

He was still living locally during 2005 and at that time Colin played in the Isle of Thanet Table Tennis League.
