Player Profile:

Midfielder with an eye for goal. Danny started his career with Harlow Town. In January 2008, he joined Cheshunt on dual registration. Spells at Bishop's Stortford and Billericay Town followed before he joined Dagenham & Redbridge, newly promoted to League One, on a three-year contract in May 2010.

The first two months of the 2010-11 season were spent on loan at Braintree Town before another loan spell at Chelmsford City and a third that season at Boreham Wood.

Danny made his professional debut for Dagenham & Redbridge on 9.8.11 as a substitute in a 5–0 defeat at Bournemouth in the League Cup.

In March 2012, he joined Dover Athletic on loan and, in October 2012, was released from his contract with Dagenham & Redbridge. He had played 11 times for the Daggers’ first-team.

He immediately joined AFC Sudbury of the Isthmian Division One North but soon returned to Bishop's Stortford. After two months with Stortford, he joined Thurrock where Danny stayed until the end of the 2012-13 season. He then signed for Maidenhead United in summer 2013.

In June 2015, Danny came to Margate on a one-year deal. He made an immediate impression, scoring in a 4-3 Gazette Cup win at Ramsgate on 21.7.15. He also scored in the first two league games of the season - a 1-1 draw at home to Truro City on 8.8.15 and in a 2-2 draw at Whitehawk on 11.8.15.

After the Truro match, he told Kent Online: "With the squad we've got, we should be competing at the top end. We should be competing for play-offs as a minimum and trying to win the league. If you're not here to do that then you shouldn't be playing football. We want to win the league and if we don't, we go up through the play-offs."

He was a regular in the team throughout the season as Margate avoided relegation by the most slender of margins.

Having scored nine times from 41 appearances for Margate, Danny joined Wealdstone ahead of the 2016-17 season.

On joining the Stones, he told the Brent and Kilburn Times: "I've just been involved in a money-ball scheme [at Margate], where they threw a certain amount of money at players coming out of the Football League. The outcome of that showed you that going down that route at this level doesn't bring about any success whatsoever the vast majority of the time."

He was an important part of the Wealdstone side that won promotion to the National League in 2019–20, featuring in all but one game before the season was curtailed due to Covid. Wealdstone were promoted on points per game. Danny left the Stones in summer 2021 having scored 40 goals in 230 appearances.

He then signed for Concord Rangers of the Isthmian League. In October 2022, he moved to Hornchurch. The following month he signed for Hayes & Yeading United.
