Player Profile:

Freddie began his career at Buckhurst Hill as a youngster, later joining West Ham United before moving to Leyton Orient. Orient gave him a one-year professional contract in the summer of 2015 and Freddie made his senior debut as a substitute in Orient's 2-1 Football League Trophy defeat at Luton Town on 1.9.2015.

In February 2016, Freddie was loaned to Isthmian Premier club Wingate & Finchley. Another loan spell at Wingate followed between September and October 2016. Freddie then joined National League South side Bishop's Stortford on loan. In January 2017, Freddie was recalled by Orient after club captain Robbie Weir suffered a long-term injury. Freddie made his Football League debut as a second-half substitute for Sammy Moore in Orient's 4-1 defeat at Stevenage on 28.2.2017.

In October 2017, he returned to Bishop's Stortford on a one-month loan. He left Orient by mutual consent in February 2018 having made a total of nine first-team appearances for the O's and signed permanently for Wingate & Finchley. Brief spells at East Thurrock United and Ebbsfleet United followed. In May 2019, Moncur joined Concord Rangers and was loaned to Cheshunt. He then had spells at Romford and Harlow Town.

Freddie joined Margate in summer 2020. Manager Jay Saunders said: "Freddie has real quality on the ball and from set-pieces, is full of energy and ambitious. I think he will fit in really well with the boys in our squad already and be a real asset in our midfield."

Freddie played in the 3-2 Thanet Cup win against Ramsgate at Hartsdown on 22.8.20 and was a regular face in our team until the 2020-21 season was abandoned in November.

In July 2021, he signed for Grays Athletic and joined Bowers & Pitsea in summer 2022. However, in September that year, he signed for Ware. He joined Enfield of the Isthmian League North Division in December 2024.

Freddie is the son of former Tottenham Hotspur, Swindon Town and West Ham United midfielder John Moncur, and the younger brother of Leyton Orient midfielder George Moncur.
