Central midfielder Gabriel graduated from Margate's U23's team that won the SCEFL Development League East in 2023-24.

He became part of the first-team squad during the 2023-24 campaign, making his debut as a sub in a 3-1 defeat at Whitehawk in the Isthmian League Cup on 5.12.23. His first start was at home to Hornchurch on 13.4.24 in a 1-0 Isthmian League defeat. He also started the final two matches of the season.

Gabriel was then retained to become part of the first-team squad for 2024-25. Ben Greenhalgh said in summer 2024: "Gabs proved how far effort and application can take you in one season. We brought him in during pre-season last year and he focused a lot of the season on the U23’s where they had a very successful campaign. It was great to see him jump at this opportunity and work his way into the first-team."

Gabriel made 23 appearances during the season, including ten as a sub.
