Full-back George played for Margate’s U23 team and made his first-team debut aged 17 in a 2-1 win at home to Enfield Town on 25.9.21. He made 11 appearances before the end of the season.

He was part of the U23 side that won the Kent Intermediate Cup, beating Rusthall Reserves 2-0 in the final at Hartsdown on 11.5.22.

George then moved to the US on a scholarship and played college football for Drury University in Springfield Missouri.

George is the son of Margate legend Paul.
