Player Profile:

Striker George was a product of local club Crewe Alexandra's youth system but in 2018 rejected scholarship terms at Crewe to join Chelsea, who reportedly paid £300,000 in compensation. He played for Chelsea's Under-23 team.

He signed his first professional contract with Chelsea, a two-year deal, in February 2020. In January 2022, he was linked with a loan move away from Chelsea, with clubs in Germany and the Netherlands reportedly interested. He was again linked with a move in July 2022 - this time Southampton and Derby County were the clubs said to be interested.

Following a trial spell with Derby, he signed for the Rams in July 2022. In October that year, he went on loan to Southern League side Mickleover. In March 2023, he went on another loan to National League South side Cheshunt for the remainder of the season.

George was back at Mickleover on another loan spell at the start of 2023-24. But, in September 2023, he joined National League South side Braintree Town on an initial one-month loan. Further loans that season followed at Hampton & Richmond Borough and Barwell. Nunn's contract was mutually terminated by Derby in April 2024.

He then joined Icelandic club HK Kópavogs and, in March 2025, signed for League of Ireland club Cobh Ramblers, who he left two months later.

In July 2025, George returned to Cheshunt, now of the Isthmian League. The rest of the 2025-26 campaign saw spells at Ramsgate and Lewes.

In September 2026, George signed for Margate, making his debut in a Velocity Cup tie at home to Merstham on 29.9.26.

George has played for the Republic of Ireland Under-19 team.
