Player Profile:

Defender Jake began his career at Tranmere Rovers but was released and joined Welsh club Llandudno, where he was part of their 2015 Huws Gray Alliance title-winning side.

He earned himself an opportunity at Sheffield United, then of League One, where he was a regular for the Blades' Under-21 side before his contract was cancelled by mutual consent.

A stint followed at Fleetwood Town before he signed for Brackley Town whom he helped avoid relegation from the National League North in 2015-16.

He spent the 2016-17 pre-season on trial at Nottingham Forest but was not offered a deal and signed for Hayes & Yeading United. He moved to Margate in January 2017, making his debut in a 2-0 defeat at Bath City on 28.1.17. After six appearances, he was released by Margate in March 2017 and finished the campaign with Welling United.

For 2017-18 he re-signed for Llandudno then joined Nantwich Town for an initial spell half-way through the season before signing for Matlock Town.

Jake re-joined Nantwich in October 2018 before making a handful of appearances for Bamber Bridge to end the campaign. Jake joined Widnes at the start of 2018-19.
