Player Profile:

Locally-born player who progressed through Ramsgate's youth ranks and played for their Under-15's during the 2003/04 season before moving up to the Under-16's for 2004/05.

After a couple of years out of football, Jason joined Margate for the 2007/08 campaign and started the season in the reserves. A few weeks later he damaged his thigh in an accident with a saw at work - he was a self-employed carpenter - and Jason was out of action for some time as a result of his injury.

By the start of 2008, he was playing again and on 26.3.08 Jason made his first-team debut when he wore the number four shirt as Margate lost 4-1 to Ebbsfleet in a Kent Senior Cup tie at Hartsdown Park. It was his only senior outing.

Jason stayed with the club for the 2008/09 campaign but he again struggled with injuries which restricted his reserve team appearances and he left Margate at the end of the season.

Jason then dropped into local amateur football and was playing for Generation Sports in the Thanet Sunday Football League during the 2011/12 campaign. He was still playing locally during 2013/14.
