Player Profile:
Born in Colchester, Jon first joined Tottenham Hotspur as an under-9 player. He made 11 appearances for Spurs Under-18s in 2010-11. He played eight times in the 2011-12 NextGen Series.
He went on loan to Isthmian North side Brentwood Town in November 2012. In March 2013, Jon joined Dagenham & Redbridge on loan until the end of the season. On 29.3.13, he made his League Two debut for the Daggers in a 0-0 draw at Barnet. Jon signed a professional contract with Spurs at the end of the 2012-13 season. He also joined Whitehawk on loan in March 2014.
Jon was released by Spurs in 2015 and signed for Ebbsfleet United for the 2015-16 campaign where he was loaned out to Concord Rangers and Gosport Borough.
He joined Margate on loan in March 2017 to replace Lewis Ward whose own loan spell had ended. He made his debut in a 3-2 defeat at Hemel Hempstead on 18.3.17. He made six appearances before returning to Ebbsfleet.
Ahead of 2019-20, manager Jay Saunders brought Jon back to Margate. Jon told the Kentish Football website: “I heard from my agent that Margate were interested and I knew straightaway that I was keen, especially because of the manager and his track record at this level and above.”
Jon made seven appearances from the start of the campaign but joined Ramsgate in October 2019.
In January 2020, he signed for Haringey Borough.
