Player Profile:

Born in Bournemouth, Jordan joined Bournemouth’s youth system in 2007, aged 13. In October 2012, he joined Dorchester Town on a one-month loan. Further loan spells at AFC Totton and Poole Town followed. In February 2014, Jordan was released by the Cherries and signed for Poole permanently.

In August 2014, he signed for Concord Rangers. After scoring seven goals in only 14 matches, he signed an 18-month deal with League Two side Cambridge United in November, making his professional debut against AFC Wimbledon on 29.11.14. In March 2015, he joined Conference Premier Dartford on loan until the end of the season.

Jordan’s contract with Cambridge United was terminated by mutual consent in December 2015. After brief spells with Braintree Town and Boreham Wood, in September 2016 Jordan rejoined Concord Rangers. He was among the scorers as Concord won 5-1 at Hartsdown in a National League South match on 22.10.16.

Jordan spent the 2017-18 season at Margate, making his debut as a substitute in a match at home to Leiston on 19.8.17.

It wasn’t long before Jordan was among the goals, his first for Margate at home to Dorking Wanderers on 28.8.17. Jordan scored and was sent off in a 5-0 win against Worthing at Bognor on 9.9.17, a home player was also dismissed in the same incident.

He notched a brace in a variety of matches – including eight goals in four games between 20.1.18 and 29.1.18 - and scored one hat-trick, in a 3-1 win at home to Needham Market on 9.1.18.

Jordan was sent off in a match at Leiston on 20.2.18 after receiving a second yellow card for unsportsmanlike conduct for laughing at an opposing player who had tripped himself up. Manager Steve Watt said he was “baffled” by the referee’s display. Margate’s Sam Blackman was also red carded in the game.

Jordan lasted only 14 minutes before going off injured in the final game of the season against Dulwich Hamlet on 28.4.18. He finished the season with 34 goals from 36 appearances, plus four as sub.

He left Margate at the end of the season and joined Chelmsford City but was released at the end of 2018-19. In October 2019, Jordan signed for Isthmian League club Bishop's Stortford. He played for Braintree Town during 2019-20.

Prior to the 2021-22 season, Jordan joined Ramsgate. Despite netting regularly in the early part of the campaign, he fell out of favour and was released in November 2021. He spent a further brief spell at Southwood at the start of 2022-23 – scoring in the Rams’ 2-1 Thanet Cup win at Hartsdown on 30.7.22 - before leaving again.

He next surfaced at Southern League AFC Totton in 2023-24 before signing for league rivals Poole Town in February 2024. Jordan joined Sholing, also of the Southern League, in September 2024.

Jordan had moved to Bashley when, on 1.2.25, he was involved in a car accident. He had been travelling home from a Southern League match at Tavistock with the club's physio when he pulled over on the hard shoulder on the M27 near Southampton to investigate a flat tyre. Both were outside the car when it was hit from behind by another vehicle. Jordan was left with injuries described as "life-changing and potentially life-threatening". He was taken to Southampton Hospital and was in a controlled coma. The physio was not hurt physically.

Jordan needed to have his right leg amputated. In an interview with the BBC in July 2025, he said: "It's hard to process - you are happy and blessed to be here, but you have still gone through serious injuries." He also said that, now that his football career was over, he wanted to return to playing golf, a sport he played when younger.

On 11.7.25, a benefit match was held for Jordan at Bashley against Bournemouth U21.

Jordan’s father, John, was a winger who played for clubs including Orient, Tottenham Hotspur and Notts County, as well as winning caps for Nigeria.
