Player Profile:
Locally-born defender who played for Thanet Colts Under-13's during the 2004/05 campaign and later joined Margate.
Josh was in Margate's Under-18 side during the 2008/09 season and during 2009/10 he featured regularly in the reserves.
In March 2010, Josh was given a contract until the end of the 2010/11 campaign and on 30.3.10 he made his first team debut when he wore the number three shirt in a 2-0 defeat at Welling in the Kent Senior Cup. It was his only senior outing during 2009/10.
On the eve of the 2010/11 season, manager Iain O'Connell spoke about Josh to the Isle of Thanet Gazette and said: "He's the baby of the squad and a good attacking left-back."
On 21.8.10 Josh made his Isthmian League Premier Division debut when he came on as a substitute in a 2-2 draw with Canvey Island at Hartsdown Park and his next outing from the bench came in a 1-1 draw with visitors Kingstonian in an FA Cup tie on 25.9.10.
Josh made his first start of the campaign when he played as a left wing-back in a 5-2 home defeat against Thamesmead in the Isthmian League Cup on 12.10.10 and then missed four matches before wearing the number three shirt in a 2-0 defeat at the hands of visitors Bromley in the Kent Senior Cup on 2.11.10.
Josh didn't feature in the senior side again until 2.4.11 when he came on in a 3-2 defeat against Harrow at Hartsdown Park and when he played in midfield in a 3-0 defeat at Hastings on 9.4.11 it was his last outing for Margate. Having made six appearances (three as sub) without scoring during 2010/11 Josh left the club in the summer of 2011 as part of a mass exodus of reserve team players who made the switch to Ramsgate.
He played exclusively for the Rams' reserves during 2011/12 and then joined Deal in the summer of 2012.
Josh left the Kent League outfit during the 2012/13 season and then dropped into the Thanet Sunday Football League.
