Player Profile:
Locally-born son of 1980's Thanet United and Margate player Richard Hemmings whose uncle Neville also had a spell with Thanet United.
Kane featured in Margate's Under-15 side during the 2005/06 season having recovered from a broken ankle and then played in the Under-18's throughout the 2006/07 and 2007/08 campaigns before progressing to the reserves.
On 30.3.10, Kane made a one-off appearance for Margate's first-team when he played at right-back in a 2-0 defeat at Welling in the Kent Senior Cup but he left the club at the end of the 2009/10 season.
In the summer of 2010, Kane joined Kent League Deal and then dropped into local amateur football in the Thanet area.
At the start of the 2011/12 campaign, he returned to Margate and became captain of the reserves but at the end of the season Kane left the club once more.
He joined Ramsgate in the summer of 2012 and played in their reserves but early in 2013 Kane started a third spell with Margate, again featuring regularly in the reserves. He left the club at the end of the 2012/13 campaign.
Early in the 2013/14 season, Kane linked up with Canterbury of the Southern Counties East Football League.
