Player Profile:

Midfielder Khalil started his career as a youngster with Bearsted and played for Tunbridge Wells in the SCEFL in 2015-16. A scholar of the Soccer Elite FA Academy, he joined Margate from Faversham Town towards the end of the 2016-17 campaign.

Khalil appeared in the last four matches of the season as a sub. He featured in Margate’s pre-season programme for 2017-18 but joined Herne Bay early in the season. Manager Steve Watt said: "KJ (Khalil) is a brilliant young player but at this moment in time he needs to play games to further his development and the opportunity to join a good Herne Bay side is one that he couldn't turn down."

He played for Sittingbourne in 2018-19 and went on to feature for Kings Hill in the Kent County League.
