Player Profile:
Born in Tirana, Albania, Kleton, who is 6’ 3” and of Greek descent, moved to Athens as a child.
In 2012, he moved to England and had a successful trial with Bristol City, where he joined the under-18 team. The following year, he was offered a professional contract by the Robins but instead joined Hibernian.
He spent the 2013-14 season in Hibs’ under-20 team and made his first-team debut in the Scottish Championship the following season, coming on as a half-time substitute in a 2-1 home win against Cowdenbeath on 8.11.14. He started the following game against Queen of the South but made no more appearances for Hibs and was released at the end of the 2014-15 season.
In July 2015, he signed for Crystal Palace but was released in September 2017 without having made a first-team appearance. Kleton joined Welling United the following month.
In March 2018, he signed for Chelmsford City and moved on to Worthing in October 2018.
After a spell with SCEFL side Chatham Town, Kleton came to Margate in March 2019 when Louis Wells moved to Dartford. His Margate debut was in a 1-0 home win over Kingstonian on 30.3.19. He then played every game until the end of the season.
Kleton signed for Carshalton Athletic in August 2019. For the 2020-21 season, he joined Cypriot Second Division club Akritas Chlorakas.
In 2023-24, he played for Greek side Makedonikos and, in 2024-25, Athlitiki Enosi Larissa.
