Player Profile:

Midfielder O’Shane had been at Southend United from under-14 level, having previously spent three seasons at Wandsworth Town. He completed a scholarship with the Essex side and played more than 50 times for the under-18 team.

In October 2019, he joined Hartsdown Park on a work experience contract until January. He made his Margate debut in a 1-0 defeat at Haringey Borough on 12.10.19. He scored in his next appearance, an FA Cup tie at Oxford City on 19.10.19 that Margate lost 2-1. A Kadell Daniel free-kick had hit the post and O’Shane scored from the rebound.

He left Margate and finished the truncated 2019-20 campaign with fellow Isthmian Premier side Merstham.

O’Shane had a loan spell at Welling United in 2021-22 but was released by Southend in February 2022 without having made a first-team appearance and signed for Canvey Island the following month.

He was at Kingstonian for part of the 2022-23 campaign.

In September 2023, he signed for Southern League Kettering Town but soon moved on to league rivals Redditch United and Boldmere St Michaels of the Midlands Division of the Northern Premier League.
