Player Profile:

Attacking player born in Chelsea, London who started his career with Gravesend & Northfleet as a youth before joining Charlton for the 1990/91 season.

After being released by the Addicks in the summer of 1991 Rossi linked up with Margate in August 1991 but his stay at Hartsdown Park was very brief. He made his debut aged 19 as a striker in a 3-1 home win over Newport IOW on 31.8.91 but the Isle of Thanet Gazette reported that he "struggled to make an impact". He was released a few days later and rejoined Gravesend & Northfleet.

Soon after his return to Stonebridge Road Rossi got both goals in a 2-1 win over Canterbury in the FA Cup and he went on to score twice more in a total of 21 appearances (one as sub) for the Fleet during the remainder of 1991/92 before leaving the club.

Rossi later played for Slade Green where he scored twice in 14 appearances during the 1994/95 campaign and he then moved on to Sheppey during 1995/96.

During the 1997/98 season Rossi played for Blue Circle in the North Kent Sunday Football League and won the league's 'Player of the Year' award.
