Striker Stephen spent the early part of his career with spells at Maidstone United, Erith & Belvedere, VCD Athletic and Sittingbourne.

In 2015, he played for Lebanese club Chabab SC Ghazieh. He then returned to England to play for Hastings United and Leatherhead during 2015-16 before joining Lewes in October 2016. He played for the Rooks until the end of 2016-17.

Stephen spent 2017-18 with Scottish League One club Stranraer.

He signed for Margate in September 2018 and made his debut in a 3-2 home win over Horndean in the FA Cup on 8.9.18. After six appearances in total, he left the club in October.

The following month, he joined Bromley on a non-contract basis. Stephen then had spells at Hythe Town, Faversham Town, Whitehawk, Whitstable Town, Ashford United, Lydd Town and Bexhill United.
