Ben Greenhalgh on TalkSport, May 2025

In May 2025, Margate player-manager Ben Greenhalgh appeared on TalkSport with presenters Ade Oladipo and Rory Jennings to talk about his time at Inter Milan. This was ahead of Inter’s appearance in the Champions League Final against Paris Saint Germain.
As well as speaking about Inter and his career, Ben discussed Margate. “Margate have properly been a home and they’ve looked after me,” he said. Of the 2025-26 kit based on Inter’s colours of blue and black, he said: “That makes me realise that I’m at a club where I’m respected and I’m looked after and I’ve been looking for that club in non-league where it keeps you there and that’s why you keep carry on playing football.”
He added: “I get on with the board and the chairman really well and I get on with the fans and I get on with the players, so it was something that was always going to be a perfect fit, luckily enough the player-management side of things has worked well so far.”
