5' 7" tall forward who played for Guildford during the 1950/51 season and scored twice as they lost 5-2 in a friendly at Margate on 16.9.50.

Alec had a trial with Crystal Palace early in the 1951/52 campaign and in December 1951 he signed for Margate.

Alec made his debut in a 6-1 win over Bowaters Lloyd at Hartsdown Park on 8.12.51 and in his next game on 15.12.51 he scored a hat-trick in an 8-0 win at Bexleyheath & Welling. He went on to make a total of 13 appearances before the end of the 1951/52 season and scored five times in all.

In the summer of 1952 Alec left the club and joined Snowdown.

He later spent several seasons with Sittingbourne and Alec's spell there included the period from 1953/54 through to 1956/57 inclusive.
