Local striker who was prolific in Thanet junior football and played a few games for Ramsgate during the 1980/81 season.
Andy then joined Thanet United during the 1983/84 campaign and after impressing in the reserves he made his first team debut in a 2-1 win over Dunstable at Hartsdown Park on 11.2.84. He also played in a 1-0 home win over Andover a week later but then returned to United's reserves and left the club in the summer of 1984.
Andy then returned to local amateur football.
