Lively striker who started his career with AFC Wimbledon where he played in the reserves early in the 2007/08 campaign before moving to Sutton during the season.

In March 2008 Billy became the youngest player for 31 years to play for Sutton's first team when he made his debut in a match against Eastbourne a month before his 17th birthday and he finished 2007/08 having made a total of four senior appearances (three as sub) without scoring.

During the 2008/09 campaign Billy scored 12 times in 35 outings (27 as sub) for Sutton and he also notched up 16 goals from only eight appearances for the youth team. In May 2009 he was sent off as Sutton lost to Croydon in the Surrey Youth League Cup Final and Billy clashed with some Croydon supporters as he left the field.

In July 2009 he played for Sutton in a friendly against Brentford and Billy had to be spoken to by the referee several times for reckless challenges during a brief appearance as a substitute. Sutton manager Paul Doswell said "I'm reluctant to take away a player's natural aggression, but he certainly needs to get his personality right as well as other parts of his game. I rate him very highly. He is wonderful with the ball at his feet, but a waste of space without it and that is what he needs to work harder on."

In August 2009 Billy joined Margate on loan and made his debut as a half-time substitute in an Isthmian League Premier Division game against Boreham Wood at Hartsdown Park on 22.8.09. In the third minute of added time at the end of the match he smashed home a dramatic goal to give Margate a 2-1 win and the Thanet Times said it was a "cracking strike" as Billy fired the ball into the top corner from the edge of the penalty area. The paper said "he looks a good player" and noted "there was a bit of an edge to him, a bit of an attitude".

Billy then started as Margate won 3-0 at Aveley on 24.8.09 and kept his place for a match at Harrow on 29.8.09 but went off injured at half-time as the hosts won 3-0. He then had to serve a two-match ban and at that point Billy returned to Sutton.

In November 2009 he joined Hendon on loan and scored once from six Premier Division outings there before going back to Sutton again.

At the end of December 2009 Billy embarked on his third loan spell of the season when he linked up with Walton & Hersham but he only played once there.

At the end of the 2009/10 campaign Billy left Sutton having played just four times (three as sub) without scoring for them during the season in between his stints at other clubs.

In the summer of 2010 he joined Kingstonian but only featured twice as a substitute in the Premier Division before moving on to Whyteleafe in October 2010.

Billy played alongside former Margate striker Darren Watson for the Leafe and made a total of four Division 1 South appearances without scoring in a short spell with the club that lasted until the start of November 2010.

He then signed for Horsham and their manager John Maggs said of Billy "He is a talented player, but as Alan Dowson at Kingstonian said, it would need someone with my experience to get hold of him. He has something to his character which is a bit naughty." Billy went on to score three times in 27 Isthmian League Premier Division outings (four as sub) for Horsham during the remainder of the 2010/11 campaign.

In June 2011 he joined Tooting & Mitcham but after playing in their first Premier Division match of the 2011/12 season Billy was dropped and in August 2011 he signed for Leatherhead.

He only played once in the Premier Division for the Tanners and early in September 2011 Billy was on the move again.

He linked up with Crawley Down of Division 1 South where he played twice in the league without scoring before rejoining Whyteleafe in October 2011.

The Leafe were Billy's fourth club of the campaign but it was another brief encounter as he only played twice in Division 1 South before dropping out of senior football for a spell to concentrate on boxing.

In March 2013 he signed for Horsham once again and Billy made seven Division 1 South appearances (two as sub) without scoring before the end of the 2012/13 season. He stayed with the club for the start of the 2013/14 campaign too and scored nine times from 28 appearances in all competitions (three as sub) up to the end of January 2014. Billy's goal tally included a hat-trick in a 6-2 home win over Guernsey on 14.12.13.

At the start of February 2014 he signed for Premier Division club Carshalton and Horsham's manager Gary Charman said "Billy has been the most influential player for us over the last six or seven games so it's a massive blow to lose someone of his ability...It's disappointing for (coach) Rob Frankland and me because we've both worked hard to restore his confidence and self-belief, and we were reaping the benefits of it, so to have another club come in and just take him like that is a bit of a kick in the teeth."

At the end of March 2014 Billy was on the move again, signing for Premier Division outfit Grays.
