Defender who started his career at Millwall and played for the Lions' youth team during the 2006/07 campaign. Charlie then featured regularly for the reserves during the 2007/08 and 2008/09 seasons.

In August 2009 he signed for Conference club Ebbsfleet but during the early part of 2009/10 Charlie still occasionally featured in Millwall's reserve team.

In October 2009 Ebbsfleet loaned him to Conference South outfit Bromley and shortly after Charlie returned to Stonebridge Road he was sent out on loan to Margate for a month.

He made his debut at centre-back on 5.12.09 as Margate drew 2-2 with Harrow in an Isthmian League Premier Division match at Hartsdown Park and Charlie then started three of the next four games. He made his last appearance in a 1-0 home defeat against Maidstone on 2.1.10 and then went back to Ebbsfleet.

Charlie didn't feature at all in the Fleet's first team during the remainder of 2009/10 and at the end of the season he left the club.

He joined Aveley of the Isthmian League Premier Division for the start of the 2010/11 campaign but in November 2010 Charlie moved on to Redbridge.

He featured in four Isthmian League Division 1 North games for Redbridge and then rejoined Aveley in December 2010.

Charlie ended 2010/11 having made a total of 19 league appearances (one as sub) for the Millers without scoring during his two spells with the club and stayed at Aveley for the start of 2011/12 too. He played eight times (twice as sub) in league matches before leaving the club towards the end of 2011 and dropping out of senior football.
