Midfielder who started his career in Canterbury's junior ranks and played for Kent's Under-16's side during 2007/08 as a City player. Dan captained Canterbury's Under-18's during the 2008/09 campaign and also played for Kent's Under-18's team. In addition he featured a few times for City's senior side in the Kent County League during the season.

In the summer of 2009 Dan signed for Margate and made his first friendly appearance in a game at Chatham on 8.8.09. Unfortunately he had to go off inside the first five minutes after being concussed in a heavy aerial challenge and Dan had to go to a local hospital as a precautionary measure. As a result he didn't feature again in Margate's pre-season matches.

On 29.8.09 Dan made his competitive debut when he played in the unfamiliar role of right wing-back as Margate lost 3-0 at Harrow in the Isthmian League Premier Division and he was substituted in the second half. After missing the next six games he came on as a substitute in a 0-0 draw with AFC Hornchurch at Hartsdown Park on 26.9.09 but it was Dan's last first team outing of the campaign and he spent the next few months in the reserves.

Early in March 2010 Dan played in a six-a-side game with Gary Lineker and Frank Lampard when they were filming a Walkers Crisps advert in Sandwich and at the end of that month Dan joined Kent League club Herne Bay.

In the summer of 2010 he featured in some friendlies for Ramsgate but by August 2010 Dan was back at Margate and he became a fixture in the reserves.

On 12.10.10 Dan made his first senior appearance of the 2010/11 season when he came on as a substitute in a 5-2 home defeat against Thamesmead in the Isthmian League Cup but he didn't feature again in the first team until 12.3.11 when he came off the bench in a 2-1 win over visitors Carshalton in the Isthmian League Premier Division.

After making one more sub appearance Dan started in midfield as Margate took on Harrow at Hartsdown Park on 2.4.11. He scored in a 3-2 defeat and kept his place for a 3-0 defeat at Hastings on 9.4.11 but that turned out to be Dan's last senior outing. He left the club at the end of the campaign having scored once from five appearances (three as sub).

In July 2011 Dan joined Kent League outfit Sevenoaks but by the end of October 2011 he was at Ramsgate where he spent the remainder of 2011/12 in the reserves.

Dan signed for Deal in the summer of 2012 but after a few weeks with the Kent League club he dropped into local football and spent most of 2012/13 playing in the Thanet Sunday Football League.

He was back at Deal in the summer of 2013 and featured in some friendlies for them.
