5' 10" tall keeper who joined Margate from West Ham in January 1948 having made 35 reserve team appearances for the Hammers spanning the 1944/45 to 1946/47 seasons.
Gordon became the sixth different keeper used by Margate during the 1947/48 campaign when he made his debut in a 2-0 defeat at Dartford in a Kent Senior Cup tie on 3.1.48. He kept his place for a 3-1 defeat at Sittingbourne on 17.1.48 but only played once more before departing at the end of the season.
