Over the course of the next five matches Lanre made two further sub appearances and another two starts but a few days after wearing the number seven shirt in a 3-0 home defeat against Hastings in the Isthmian League Cup on 3.12.13 he was released. Lanre had scored twice from a total of 21 outings (16 as sub).

Later in December 2013 he signed for Thamesmead of the Premier Division and then at the end of February 2014 Lanre moved on to Conference South outfit Maidenhead. He stayed with the club for the start of the 2014/15 season too.
