5' 9" tall striker born in St.Hellier, Jersey who came to the attention of numerous scouts whilst playing football on the island for junior clubs Star Trophy and Rozel Rovers.

At the age of 14 Marc had the option of signing for Glasgow Rangers, Leeds or Manchester United but choose to go to Old Trafford as he was a United supporter.

Marc signed a five-year contract and progressed through the Red Devils youth ranks in the years that followed. During the 1998/99 season he scored twice from eight outings (three as sub) for United's Under-17's side and by the end of the 2000/01 campaign Marc had scored 16 goals from a total of 44 outings at Under-17 and Under-19 levels. He was released at the end of the season aged 18 without making it as far as United's reserves.

In June 2001 Marc signed for Division 2 (later League One) club Bury and in July 2001 he spoke to the Lancashire Evening Telegraph about his time with Manchester United. He told the paper "I was sad to leave United and when you go from a £14.3 million training ground to Bury's facilities, with all due respect, it is difficult. But I want first team football, everyone does, and when you see the likes of Joe Cole making a name for himself at his age you know it can be done." Bury's manager Andy Preece said "He works hard, has a nice touch and good movement."

In August 2001 Marc suffered a badly broken nose in an Under-19's match for Bury which hampered his chances of breaking into the first team but he recovered and played regularly for the Shakers' reserves before being loaned to Northern League Premier Division outfit Altrincham in March 2002.

Marc played six times (three as sub) for Alty without scoring before going back to Bury at the end of the 2001/02 campaign. He was then released having never made a senior appearance.

In the summer of 2002 Marc played in some friendlies for Woking but the Cards decided they couldn't afford to sign him and he left the club before the start of the 2002/03 season proper.

In September 2002 Marc signed for Southern League Premier Division club Weymouth and said "I am desperate to play first team football and am grateful that Weymouth have given me this opportunity. I want to play back in the Football League and consider Weymouth Football Club a good shop window." Looking back again on his time at Old Trafford Marc recalled "The only time Sir Alex Ferguson called me by my name was the day I signed and the day he let me go. Apart from that, it was 'All right, son?'"

Marc stayed with Weymouth until the end of the 2002/03 campaign and in May 2003 he was released.

In August 2003 he joined Lewes of the Conference South and Marc scored 22 goals for the Rooks during 2003/04. His tally included a hat-trick in a 4-0 win at Tooting & Mitcham on 6.9.03.

He stayed at Lewes for the start of the 2004/05 season but in September 2004 Marc was loaned to the Rooks Conference South rivals Eastbourne Borough for a month.

In March 2005 Lewes loaned Marc to Isthmian League Premier Division club Worthing and he scored twice in four league outings there before the end of the 2004/05 campaign.

In the summer of 2005 Marc played in two friendlies for Margate and on 13.8.05 he made his competitive debut in a 2-0 defeat at Ramsgate in a match played for the Kent Messenger Cup. The Thanet Times said he was the player that "threatened most in front of goal" but it was Marc's only appearance and he then moved on to Horsham.

He scored once from four Isthmian League Premier Division outings for the Sussex club (two as sub) before joining Conference South outfit Maidenhead in October 2005.

In March 2006 Maidenhead allowed Marc to join Isthmian League Division 1 club Hastings on a dual registration agreement and he made four league appearances there without scoring before the end of the 2005/06 season.

His move to Hastings was made permanent in August 2006 and Marc went on to score four goals from 14 league outings before being released at the end of October 2006.

In November 2006 he signed for Sussex County League side Ringmer and Marc scored on his debut in a 2-2 draw at Rye n 11.11.06.

Early in December 2006 he linked up with Croydon who were playing in the Kent League at the time and Marc spent the rest of 2006/07 there.

In the summer of 2007 he went back to Ringmer and Marc managed a remarkable 49 goals during the 2007/08 campaign which made him the leading goalscorer in Sussex for the season.

He rejoined Hastings in the summer of 2008 and at that time Marc was working as a sports coach. He scored three times in 30 Isthmian League Premier Division outings (16 as sub) for Hastings during 2008/09 and one of Marc's goals was a dramatic last-minute winner to seal a 3-2 triumph at Margate on 4.10.08.

He spent the 2009/10 campaign with Sussex County League side Whitehawk and in August 2009 Marc scored all three goals in a 3-2 home win over Arundel. Whitehawk reached the FA Vase semi-finals and won promotion to the Isthmian League.

Marc returned to Ringmer again in the summer of 2010 - his third spell with the club - and scored over 20 goals during the 2010/11 season. He stayed with the club for 2011/12 too and on 22.10.11 he scored a hat-trick in a 5-0 win over Woodstock Sports in the FA Vase. Marc finished the campaign as Ringmer's top scorer.
