5' 10" tall Margate-born attacker whose father Paul played over 50 games for Thanet United during the 1980's.

Nick was on Chelsea's books as a schoolboy before joining Fulham aged 16. He played for the Cottagers' youth team during the 2004/05 campaign but was released at the end of the season.

After leaving Craven Cottage Nick had trials with Wycombe and then Gillingham in the summer of 2005 but he ended up starting the 2005/06 campaign with Dover.

Nick made one substitute appearance for Dover in the Isthmian League Division 1 - coming on 88 minutes into a 1-0 home win over Ashford on 29.8.05 - and also played three times (once as sub) in the Isthmian League Cup before moving on to Hastings towards the end of 2005.

Nick never featured in Hastings' first team and in January 2006 he signed for Ramsgate where he spent the remainder of the 2005/06 season.

In the summer of 2006 Nick joined Margate and started the 2006/07 campaign in the reserves. On 28.10.06 he made his first team debut as a substitute in a 4-0 win at Leyton in the Isthmian League Premier Division and Nick also featured as a sub in Margate's next match. He then made his full debut wearing the number nine shirt in a 1-0 defeat at VCD in the Kent Senior Cup on 8.11.06 before returning to the reserves for a few months.

Nick's next senior outing was as a substitute in a game at Carshalton on 17.2.07 and he scored the Margate goal in a 2-1 defeat. He then started two of the next three games and the Thanet Times' report on a 2-0 defeat against Boreham Wood at Hartsdown Park on 10.3.07 said Nick "showed a lot of potential". The paper chose him as Margate's 'man of the match' and player-manager Robin Trott said "Nick Bagley did very well on the right."

He was back amongst the substitutes for a match at Staines on 17.3.07 and the Thanet Times said Nick was a "breath of fresh air with his pace" after coming on after only 44 minutes as Margate lost 1-0. Three days later he came off the bench to score his second goal of the campaign in a 5-1 home win over Leyton and Nick featured twice more as a sub before wearing the number seven shirt in a 0-0 draw with Billericay at Hartsdown Park on 3.4.07. That was his last start of the season and after two further outings as a substitute he ended 2006/07 with a record of two goals from 13 appearances (nine as sub).

Nick featured in most of Margate's friendlies ahead of the 2007/08 campaign and on the eve of the new season Robin Trott told the Isle of Thanet Gazette "His skill level is unbelievable. He's good to watch and is a crowd-pleaser. He just needs to work on defending and positioning."

On 18.8.07 Nick came on as a sub as Margate took on Chelmsford at Hartsdown Park in their opening Isthmian League Premier Division game and with Margate 1-0 up with three minutes left he made an error that led to Chelmsford equalizing. The Thanet Times said his "nightmare header" on the edge of his own penalty area gifted a visiting player a chance to score and a few days later Nick was released. Robin Trott told the Isle of Thanet Gazette "It's his positioning. He's not been learning quickly enough and I haven't got time to waste. That's why he's switched from club to club. It's a shame because Nick's a lovely lad, he always turned up for training and was eager. I wish him all the best for the future."

In September 2007 Nick signed for Ramsgate and he made two Isthmian League Premier Division appearances there before dropping into Division 1 to join Whitstable in January 2008.

Nick stayed with the Oystermen until September 2008 when he was released having scored twice in a total of 15 appearances and he then dropped into Sunday football.

In the summer of 2010 Nick joined Kent League club Deal but he only made a handful of appearances there before returning to local amateur football.

In the summer of 2013 he signed for Canterbury of the Southern Counties East Football League.

Nick's cousin Grant had spells with clubs including Deal, Dover, Ramsgate and Canterbury during the 2000's and 2010's.
