5' 11" tall Jamaican full-back who started his career in Sutton's youth ranks before being signed by Football League club Rushden & Diamonds in 2003 aged 16.

Ricardo progressed through Rushden's junior sides and for some of his time at the club future Margate goalkeeper Scott Chalmers-Stevens was also part of the squad.

On 7.1.06 Ricardo made his first team debut at left-back as Rushden lost 2-0 at Peterborough in a League Two game but although he was named as a substitute for two more matches later in the 2005/06 campaign he didn't make another senior appearance.

In March 2006 Ricardo briefly joined Southern League Premier Division club Rugby on loan but he only played once before returning to Nene Park.

At the end of the 2005/06 season Rushden were relegated from the Football League and Ricardo was released.

In the summer of 2006 he signed for Isthmian League Premier Division club Worthing and Ricardo made six league appearances there without scoring before being released in November 2006. He didn't play anywhere else during the remainder of the 2006/07 campaign.

Ricardo returned to football a few weeks into the 2007/08 season when he joined Harrow and he made five Isthmian League Premier Division appearances for them before signing for Margate in December 2007. His old Rushden team-mate Scott Chalmers-Stevens had recommended him to the club.

Ricardo made his debut at left-back in a 1-1 draw with Ramsgate in an Isthmian League Premier Division game at Hartsdown Park on Boxing Day 2007 and he also started Margate's next two matches in the number three shirt. On 19.1.08 he was due to play in a home game against Carshalton but Ricardo was delayed in traffic en route to the match and only arrived in time to feature as a second half substitute.

After returning to the starting line-up at right-back in a 2-1 win over visitors Chatham in a Kent Senior Cup tie on 22.1.08 Ricardo then enjoyed a lengthy run in the side at left-back and only missed two of Margate's remaining 17 games. The Thanet Times described him as "outstanding" in a 1-0 home win over Billericay on 8.3.08 and said Ricardo was "nice and solid in defence and bombing on to join the attack". On 26.4.08 he made what turned out to be his final appearance for Margate in a 1-0 win at Harrow and Ricardo left the club at the end of the season after playing 20 times (once as sub) without scoring.

In June 2008 he signed for Isthmian League Premier Division Ashford (Middlesex) and Ricardo went on to make 82 appearances (five as sub) there without scoring before moving on to Carshalton in March 2010.

He played nine times (three as sub) for the Robins without scoring before the end of the 2009/10 campaign and then scored once from 16 Isthmian League Premier Division outings during 2010/11. Ricardo stayed with Carshalton for the 2011/12 season and made 26 league appearances (four as sub) without scoring. He was still with the club during 2012/13 and featured 35 times in Premier Division games (once as sub) without breaking his goal duck.

At the start of July 2013 Ricardo signed for Premier Division club Metropolitan Police.
