Hard working, gritty player who joined Margate from Wisbech at the start of the 1965/66 season and made his debut on 30.8.65 in a Southern League Cup tie at Canterbury that Margate lost 2-1. Tony had a good game but after making six further appearances, including a game at left-back, he was released in November 1965. He then joined Dover.
